  11. Hello all!

  13. My Harddisk crashed yesterday :(
  14. I was able to recover most files.
  15. I want to copy all files to another partition and reformat the partition 
  16. that has crashed.

  18. The problem is that I use the MultiUser Filesystem. All files has an owner 
  19. and when I copy it to somewhere else, I suddenly become the owner of these 
  20. files. 
  21. I'm looking for a way to copy the files without changing the owner and the 
  22. protectionbits.
  23. I know this can be done with a backup utility (BackMan) but it's shareware 
  24. otherwise it just backups 4Mb.
