- Hello all!
-
- My Harddisk crashed yesterday :(
- I was able to recover most files.
- I want to copy all files to another partition and reformat the partition
- that has crashed.
-
- The problem is that I use the MultiUser Filesystem. All files has an owner
- and when I copy it to somewhere else, I suddenly become the owner of these
- files.
- I'm looking for a way to copy the files without changing the owner and the
- protectionbits.
- I know this can be done with a backup utility (BackMan) but it's shareware
- otherwise it just backups 4Mb.
-
- Thanx!
